Christmas 2008
Yeah, like I care.
I was prepared to write one whole blog entry full of bitterness and shit, but then I realized, hey, I've got it so much better than a lot of people.
I remembered Kuya Wilfred, our service support that got stabbed by some random guy and died two nights ago. We may not have been close, but just thinking of how a family can celebrate Christmas with the dead body of a loved one with you in the house, well, for sure I wouldn't want that for myself or for anyone.
And so starting this Christmas, I will try to be more positive about the season. We may not have the happiest Noche Buena, or have the loudest house on the street, but we're still all together this Christmas, and that's what's important. We may have lost two family members in the recent years, but that's no reason to be all negative about it.
Okay. If only I can make myself believe that.
