First of Summer

It's funny that when you're in college, the reason why you couldn't just pack up and leave for the beach is that you don't have the money. Now that you do, the biggest problem is time, which you had a lot of in college.

Hay.

Summer's finally here, and my friends and I started it off by going to Boracay! Finally, we got to stay at Station One, the more subdued and quiet part of the island. I've been going there every year since 2005, and I've never stayed at Station One. I've always wanted to, and now that I have tried it, I'll thinking, I won't go anywhere else. We found a really nice hotel, Sur Boracay, and it has really nice facilities and sort of affordable rates, in comparison to the other hotels in the area.

All I wanted to do was rest, and that, I think I got to do. I just didn't get to sleep by the beach, though. It would've been nice, but I'm still paranoid that I'll get sunburnt. What I got to do is just lounge around on the beach, with chill out summer-y music, smoking and drinking shakes. That for me is rest enough.

Anyway. I'm keeping this short.

I'm happy I started Summer 2009 great. Whatever happens, I'll make sure that this summer will be fun for me, despite the fact that I'm tied to work most of the time. I'll make time, if I have to. :)
